About Prerna
Hello! I am currently pursuing a Diploma in Japanese Language from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi, after completing my Certificate course in Japanese Language from Miranda House, University of Delhi. My interest in Japanese began with a deep appreciation for its structure, culture, and elegance. It is a language that feels both artistic and disciplined. In my classes, I aim to create a calm, supportive space for absolute beginners. I focus on: - building a strong foundation in Hiragana, Katakana, and basic kanji - Teaching clear pronunciation and sentence formation. - sharing handwritten notes and simple tricks to help retain concepts. - encouraging slow, meaningful learning without pressure. My aim is to make students feel confident, comfortable, and motivated to keep growing. If you are beginning your journey with Japanese, I'd be glad to guide you through it, step by step at your pace.

I teach Japanese in a soft-paced beginner-friendly way using simple language and handwritten notes that I have created myself. My classes are designed to make learners feel comfortable and confident. I explain everything from basic writing systems (Hiragana and Katakana) to simple sentence formation, vocabulary building, basic kanji recognition and writing. I also share tips on how to remember tricky sounds or characters using creative, visual tricks and examples.
