About Millie

I’m a lifelong learner and an avid reader — I love action thrillers, biographies, and exploring new ideas through documentaries. These interests keep me curious and help me bring real-world examples into lessons, making learning engaging and meaningful. Teaching is my passion. I approach every lesson with the patience I wish I had when I was learning, ensuring students feel supported, confident, and motivated. I believe that understanding comes from practice, encouragement, and clear guidance, not pressure or stress. My goal is not just to help students improve grades or test scores, but to foster a love of learning and give them tools they can use long after our sessions are over. I bring energy, empathy, and creativity to every lesson, making tutoring both effective and enjoyable.

About the lesson

I provide focused, results-driven lessons designed to help students succeed in English and standardized tests.

My tutoring covers:
English skills: Grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary, essay writing, and critical thinking
Test prep: ACT, SAT, and GED strategies, practice exams, and time management techniques
College & GED readiness: Study skills, writing techniques, and test-taking confidence

Each lesson is personalized to your needs, so you spend time on exactly what you struggle with while building your strengths. I break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand steps, provide practice exercises, and teach strategies that improve scores and boost confidence.

Sessions are remote and weekend-friendly, making it easy to fit learning into your schedule without stress. I focus on practical skills that students can apply immediately to homework, tests, and exams, ensuring measurable results from every session.

Whether you need to improve your English, master the ACT/SAT, or pass the GED, I create lessons that make learning engaging, effective, and confidence-building. My approach helps students understand concepts deeply, retain knowledge, and perform at their best on test day.
