About Hongjin
My name is Hongjin, and I’m an engineering student at Cornell University with a strong background in mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry.
In the past, I ran my own coding school for kids with over 300 students and a tech-help school for elders with over 50 students.
Outside of academics, I enjoy playing soccer, basketball, the guitar, and watching mukbang videos haha

My approach to tutoring is centered on adapting to each student’s goals and learning style. I focus on helping people with exactly what they need. If a student wants to move quickly and learn problem-solving techniques to perform well on assignments or exams, I teach efficient strategies and shortcuts. If a student prefers to go slower, I help them build a deep, intuitive understanding of the material so they can apply concepts confidently in new situations.
