About Simona

I have been a tenured high school teacher in Italy for over ten years and hold a PhD in Classical Philology. My education and professional experience have developed in international contexts: I conducted part of my doctoral research in Germany and worked as a university professor in Chile, where I also worked as a professional translator. Languages and communication are the common thread throughout my career: in addition to Italian, I have bilingual knowledge of Spanish (DELE C2 certification) and advanced knowledge of English (CAE C1 certification), a Master's degree in English-Italian Specialized Translation, and the DITALS II certification for teaching Italian to international students. During my studies, I also improved my German (intermediate level - Goethe Zertifikat B2) and French (intermediate level - DELF B2). I offer lessons in: Italian as a second language (Italian L2). My lessons are aimed at Italian and international students. I believe that the Italian language represents a universal cultural heritage, accessible to all. For this reason, I can also teach in Spanish and English, adapting the program to each student's linguistic needs and goals.

About the lesson

I teach Italian as a second language (L2) to high school and university students, as well as adults who wish to deepen their knowledge of this subject for personal or professional reasons. Each program is customized based on the student's goals, starting level, and learning style. Lessons are dynamic, engaging, and focused on developing solid language skills and effective study methods. I offer: individual and personalized lessons; preparation for tests, oral exams, and university exams; preparation for certifications (CILS, CEDIL, PLIDA); consolidation of study methods and filling in gaps. Professionalism, expertise, and over ten years of teaching experience are the foundation of my work, with the goal of helping each student achieve concrete and lasting results.
