About Anna

Learning a language should feel exciting, making you happy and engaged, and not intimidating.

In our first lesson, we’ll talk about your goals and what you’d like to feel more confident with, whether that’s everyday conversation, grammar support, pronunciation, or preparing for a move or a new job. From there, we’ll build lessons around you.

I don’t believe in rigid or one-size-fits-all teaching. Some students learn best through conversation, others prefer exercises and clear explanations, while most need a mix. I adapt naturally to your pace and personality.

I also love bringing real-life topics into lessons, so we'll talk about cinema, music, travel, culture, photography, and current events, so that learning feels relevant and enjoyable rather than abstract.

Most importantly, I create a relaxed and safe space where you can speak safely, make mistakes, and gradually build confidence.

About the lesson

I have several years of experience teaching primarily Italian and conversational English to adults, working with students from beginner to intermediate level. My lessons focused on building strong grammatical foundations, improving pronunciation, and developing confidence in everyday conversation.

Alongside language teaching, I also teach photography, which has strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles. Teaching both subjects has reinforced the importance of patience, structure, and tailoring content to each individual.

My academic background includes a degree in Public Relations and a Master’s degree in Events Management. Professionally, I have worked in communication and analytical roles in the UK, where clarity, structure, and precision in language were essential. This allows me to bring a practical, real-world perspective to my lessons, particularly for students interested in professional or business communication.

I do not follow a rigid methodology, as I believe effective teaching must adapt to the student’s goals and pace; however, my lessons are always structured and goal-oriented, so, depending on your needs, we may focus on:

-Grammar and sentence construction
- Conversation and fluency development
- Pronunciation and confidence
- Writing and professional communication

I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and progress steadily.

Lessons can be as short as 45 minutes or up to 90 minutes, and I’m happy to adapt to your schedule.
