About Federica

I’m a 33-year-old native Italian, born in Milano but my dad is from southern Italy (Puglia). Growing up, I experienced a blend of northern and southern Italian cultures, which has enriched my perspective and understanding of Italy’s diversity. I studied Pedagogy and Social Sciences at Virgilio High School in Milan before beginning my teaching journey in France. There, I taught Italian privately and in institutions like Business Talk and The Chinese Institute, adapting my lessons to the professional needs of employees in various companies. This experience shaped my approach to language teaching, which I’ve continued for several years. I hold a Fine Arts degree from a French university and participated in an exchange programme in South Korea, where I had the fascinating experience of teaching Italian to Korean students while learning Korean myself. Back in France, I pursued acting studies and later moved to the UK after being selected for the MA Theatre Lab at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). I’m passionate about sharing my language and culture. I love cinema, theatre, music, and of course good foods! I think those are very enjoyable ways of discovering a culture. I really enjoy travelling and connecting with people. While I’m sociable and cheerful, I bring a lot of focus and determination to my work.

Ciao! Mi chiamo Federica! I'm a 33-year-old native Italian from Milan, passionate about helping students master the Italian language. With over 8 years of teaching experience since 2015, I have worked with individuals and professionals, including at renowned schools like "Business Talk" and "The Chinese Institute" in France. I'm a graduate of the prestigious R.A.D.A. (MA in Theatre Lab), and I bring a unique approach to language learning. By blending my acting expertise with language-teaching methods, I help students build the confidence they need to speak Italian fluently. After all, lack of confidence is the greatest barrier to mastering a new language! What I Offer: - Comprehensive Lessons: Speaking, listening, reading, and writing for all levels. - Tailored Approach: Classes are designed around your goals and preferences—whether for professional use, studies, or leisure. - Engaging Materials: Lessons are supported by PDFs, videos, and audio tracks to make learning dynamic and enjoyable. - Language Skills: I’m bilingual in French, fluent in English (IELTS Level 7), and have a basic level of Korean, making me adept at understanding and supporting students from diverse backgrounds. - Flexible Delivery: Classes are conducted via Zoom, and I occasionally offer in-person sessions for an additional transportation fee.
