About Gloria Allison
Hello!
I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures for International Cooperation (English and Spanish) at the University of Bari; then I moved to Rome to get my CELTA and teach English to so called "non-native speakers", which allowed me to fly to Dublin and work as a teacher on an EF Education First campus.
During the academic year 2019/2020 I taught English in a middle school in Italy, learning almost immediately that it would be an intense year to say the least. I took a training course for the now very famous DaD and now I'm doing quite well with remote teaching.
I currently work as a support teacher and educator at a public middle school in Puglia.

The Italian language lessons are mainly aimed at those who want or need to learn the language for work or leisure purposes, from beginner to intermediate level.
Since Italian is my native language, it is easy to create customized lessons based on the student's goal. Generally, I tend to focus each lesson on a different skill (written and oral comprehension, written and oral expression, vocabulary and conversation) and to leave more space to the students, who can thus gradually measure themselves with the objectives to be achieved together.
