About Cinzia

After my scientific high school, I graduated in "Communication Sciences" in Milan (Italy) and I am now attending a master's degree in "Marine Environmental Protection" in Bangor (UK). I love language, syntax, grammar and linguistics. It is a fascinating world that coexists thanks to the balance and contribution of every single word and letter. I love teaching and I love spreading my mother tongue. Unlike English, italian is a language rich in history, grammar rules and verb conjugations, which you can hate as much as you can love. With lots of practice and dedication I am sure we can work together. There is nothing that makes me happier than helping someone. It takes patience and determination, but together we will succeed.

About the lesson

I firmly believe in the value of language as a major transmitter of emotions and opinions. I would like to spread the knowledge of Italian by teaching it to many people. To learn a language you always start with grammar, spelling, verb conjugation, logic and syntax, but above all you have to be willing to study and practise. You have to practise daily with written exercises and oral conversation. Don't be afraid to speak in a foreign language, no one will judge you. Don't feel inferior if the accent is not perfect or if the verb is badly conjugated, you must be proud of yourself for learning a new language.
The lessons will be online and one hour long, not longer because concentration drops.
I have been a teacher of various subjects at primary and secondary school (Italian, English, History, ,Maths and Geography) and I never lose the desire to teach. I am patient but I also demand cooperation and effort from my students.
My lessons are open to anyone, whether you want to start learning Italian, want to practise and have a conversation (I'm talkative), prepare for an Italian language certificate, or need help with writing essays or applying for a university or job.
