About Nina

I'm an experienced investment banking professional with seven years of expertise in finance, M&A, financial modelling, accounting, business strategy and valuation, and an alumna of King's College London.

My professional background has given me strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills, which I bring to tutoring in Mathematics, Economics, Business Studies, English and English Literature, alongside specialist investment banking interview and technical preparation.

Throughout my career, I've particularly enjoyed mentoring and training junior colleagues, breaking down complex concepts and helping others develop their skills and confidence.

I'm passionate about making learning engaging, accessible and rewarding, and helping students achieve their full academic and professional potential.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is personalised and results-driven, focusing on building genuine understanding rather than simply memorising information.

I tailor each lesson to the student's individual goals, strengths and areas for improvement. My teaching combines clear, structured explanations with practical exercises, real-world examples, past examination questions and constructive feedback to ensure measurable progress.

For GCSE and A-Level students, I focus on strengthening subject knowledge, analytical thinking, problem-solving and examination technique across Maths, Economics, Business Studies, English and English Literature.

For aspiring investment bankers, I draw on my seven years of experience at banks and accounting firms to provide practical coaching in accounting, financial modelling, valuations (DCF and LBO), technical interviews and commercial awareness. I also help candidates develop compelling, authentic interview responses and understand what senior bankers genuinely look for in successful interns and analysts.

I hold a BA (Hons) from King's College London and have extensive professional experience mentoring, training and guiding junior colleagues, analysts and interns. I have sat on interview panels in investment banking so I know exactly what they are looking for.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with longer sessions available on request.

My tutoring is suitable for KS3, GCSE and A-Level students, university students, alumni, aspiring investment bankers and early-career professionals looking to strengthen their knowledge, confidence and competitive edge.
