About Lilia

Hello, Bonjour! I am currently a student wanting to share the French language and my love for languages especially with children. I am a native English and French speaker (and I speak a little Mandarin and Cantonese on the side). As someone who has spent most of their schooling in the French system, I know the tediousness which can come with learning French and the complexities of the language, which I want to make as simple and interesting as possible. I would love to mainly work with younger children and secondary school children, ages 5-16. From learning to read and basic vocabulary, all the way to going through past GCSE papers and giving students the tools to ace their exams. However, I am more than willing to work with adults wanting to improve their conversational French or teaching survival phrases to travellers. I have 5 years of experience teaching children, ages 3-10 (teaching Irish Dance!) and 1 year of tutoring English to a French teen. Aside from my love of languages, I am passionate about musicals, films, music and crafting. Hope to talk to you soon!

About the lesson

Depending on what you need, I will tailor my lessons to what you want to improve but also to your personal interests. When it comes to school work / exams, we will go over past papers, how to tackle certain questions. I will give you the tools so that you can be best prepared for your exams. I would love to work with kids (ages 5-16), from working on the alphabet, improving French speaking to revising for GCSE. However, I would be glad to teach anyone wanting to improve their French or wanting to learn survival phrases for travellers! Hope to work with you soon!
