I highly recommend Luke as a drum teacher. I am a 55-year-old with musical experience, but I was new to the drums. I found Luke online (I live in the United States), and I have been taking online lessons with him for the past 3 years. He is reliable, professional, and an amazing teacher. I have been very pleased with his teaching style. He gives me as much time as I need to grasp concepts, and he also challenges me to strive to play more difficult material. He instructs me on structured skills like rudiments, but he also encourages me to be creative with improvising. He is very patient with me, whether I am taking notes, or trying multiple times to play a new rhythm. He is also very encouraging, letting me know when I play something well, but also letting me know how to improve. Luke has taught me a variety of skills, including beats and fills, rudiments, the drum parts to several of my favorite songs, a drum solo, various drumming techniques, and drum kit positioning for efficiency and comfort. In addition to being an excellent teacher, Luke is also an amazing drummer. It has been a fun and enjoyable experience taking drum lessons with him.

Luke is a very nice teacher. Past few years my son is learning drums with Luke and now he is in Grade 6 . He has a lot knowledge and experience with all the techniques . I am highly recommend Luke as your Drum teacher.

Luke is a brilliant drum teacher. The time my son goes classes with him it is absolutely useful. He uses the great teaching method. End of each classes he gives feedback about classes and he gives tips to practice for his next class. I hope in the future my son will become a good drummer.
