About Damian

Hi there. My name is Damian and I am a professional actor, writer, and director with over 30 years of experience in the film and television industry. As an acting coach and absolute fanatic of all things cinema, I am fiercely passionate about helping actors to bring powerful, authentic performances to the screen. Engaging with story through cinema has been my absolute obsession as far back as I can remember ..

About the lesson

Having directed a number of international award winning films and also played many lead roles across various genres on screen, I have a very clear understanding of what is needed to create compelling, emotional performances that connect with an audience. Over the last 15 years I have developed a simple, dynamic method to bring exciting, compelling screen performances to life. A playful way that allows you to embrace that precarious knife’s edge of spontaneity.

Many of my students have gone on to book significant professional film and tv roles. So, whether you want to delve deeper into the organic, moment to moment nature of the work, or you wish to gain a clearer understanding of script analysis itself and how it empowers you to really live characters from within, I am here to play, explore and guide you through the continually breathtaking mischief of it all.
