About Akash
I am Akash Alexes, a 20 year old international student who very much like you, found it very difficult to understand these messy, poorly taught scientific concepts. I remember spending 3-4 hours, using multiple you-tube videos, trying to understand Respiration, Muscle contraction, DNA replication, Transcription and all the chemical processes taking place within the cell. After these experiences, I firmly believe that a good student is strongly led by a good teacher. And I want to be that teacher/tutor for you.
I have been blessed with good communication skills and empathy. I understand when studies can become too much, I understand when the topic is very tangled up like wired-earphones. I have sufficient experience with students to know when they are facing a difficulty but afraid to ask for help.
Of course, if you are comfortable, we can be a friends as much as a tutor and a tutee.

A typical lesson would be 1 hour long. This would be my approach to help your c maximise understanding:
1. Concept Introduction
-an overview of the concept along with objectives is given.
-the student is encouraged to present existing ideas about said concept.
2. Explanation involving analogies
-here, the student can cross-question so as to prevent any gaps in understanding
-helping student connect ideas, using simple real-life analogies to understand.
3.Doubt session
-student can ask question to further clarify any doubts
4. Short quiz/rapid fire quiz
5.Refer to textbook problems, assign homework etc.
6. Follow up the next week with a short quiz to ensure active recall of information
