About Andrea

Hi! My name is Andrea Amato, and I am a final year student for the International Baccalaureate.

I decided to start tutorin because I know how much of a difference it makes to have someone who explains clearly and helps overcome difficulties. I want to make mathematics less intimidating and more understandable, giving students a good theoretical understanding to make them feel comfortable.

About the lesson

Mathematics lessons in both Italian and English.

My method is based on a practical and interactive approach, adapted to the needs of each student.
My main goal will always be to make sure that the student understands the theory behind mathematics. I have been helping my classmates for years and, every time, I notice that the difficulty in solving a problem depends on the fact that the theory has not been explained clearly. For this reason, I believe it is essential to convey a solid theoretical understanding, so that the student can approach the exercises with confidence.

Additionally, I encourage critical thinking and logical reasoning to help students solve problems on their own.

How I conduct the lessons:

Initial Assessment – Let’s review any difficulties together and I clarify doubts on the previous topics.

Theoretical Explanation – I present the concept in a clear and schematic way, using practical examples.

Guided Exercises – Let's solve some exercises together, analyzing the best steps and methods.

Independent Exercises – The student tries to solve some problems alone, with my support in case of difficulties.

At the end of the lesson, I like to assign some exercises to consolidate understanding. If there were difficulties while solving the questions, we will address them together during the next session.

I am more than happy to adapt the lesson structure to the student's preferences and learning style.
