About Abdul
I'm a big sports lover, especially football and tennis!
From an academic point of view, I love Maths, as although it
is a definitive subject with one correct answer, there can be different routes to achieving the answer, accounting for different styles. My background in Maths has been strong since a young age, and as I got older, I appreciated its daily applications even more so, thus developing my passion for it. Maths can help students better understand their future finances and improve problem-solving
skills, even in tasks like deciding which route ensures the shortest travel time.
My skills align well with what makes a good teacher. I am a driven individual who understands the value of hard work, as evidenced in my grades and have a very strong passion for Maths. I am clear and confident in my communication, having worked with students I understand the patience required to help them exceed their goals.

I've taught ages 11-18 and whilst having a structure in my lessons is important, I also like to try and intertwine several topics into one lesson/question so that the student can actively recall the methods themselves and apply them more frequently.
