About Livia
I'm a freelance writer and aspiring author. If you're looking for someone more knowledgeable than a friend, but not quite as polished as an actual professor, I'm exactly who you want. I have a degree in psychology, not English (or creative writing, or anything related), and do you know what that means? It means that my instincts and strategies weren't just handed to me. I have firsthand experience trying things out and finding what works, what sounds good, what's compelling. I don't just know writing; I've lived and breathed it.

My lessons are for anyone from beginner to intermediate level. To begin, I'd like to see some of your writing. You could present me with some, if you'd like. Or, instead, we could brainstorm ideas together and work through where to go from there. My style of teaching is to get to know my student and their needs, then work from there. I do not believe in, "one size fits all," methods of teaching.
