About Leo

What can I offer?
I used to be a high school student not too long ago, thus I am aware of your needs and concerns which I am more than happy to address during my lessons. I can also provide you with some simple productivity tips that have helped me succeed in my academic career!
As mathematicians we are not allowed to use results we can't prove - I will help you understand mathematics from first principles.

Wo am I?
I am a 20 year old undergraduate maths student at Imperial College London. I completed Abitur (GPA 1,0) in 2018 and was awarded the Abitur-Prize by the German Mathematical Society (DMV).

I started tutoring younger students at the age of 15 and have since gained experience with tutees at all levels of ability. Thus I can also help you perform better at maths and teach you how to find joy in studying the subject.

Most people believe maths is all about difficult calculations. During my lessons I will convince you that that is not at all true: Maths is about ideas rather than numbers. My goal is to make you understand a handful of key mathematical concepts that you can apply to all sorts of problems across a variety of disciplines and that will help you succeed in your academic career beyond high school.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic it is more important than ever to make sure you doesn’t fall behind with your school work, otherwise you will be in even more trouble the coming year. Hence why I design my lessons such that I touch on all the material covered by your curriculum while also taking into account your individual needs.
