About Misha

At UC Berkeley, I pursued a major in Integrative Biology and a minor in Cal Teach (STEM focused education) which required me to dedicate over 200 hours working with students at various levels of education. Through Cal Teach, I have led and taught many classes and working at these schools have taught me how to respect and treat students with personalized attention.

On my own time, I have been tutoring K-12 students for about 7 years and have focused on helping students gain academic confidence through strengthening core topics and helping them strengthen their mental health as well.

In a non-academic sense, I have spent many years working with children as well. After getting my bachelor's degree this May 2023, I plan on becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, for which I have spent endless hours dedicating time to understand the medical side and development of students. I have experience working at a Child Development Center, daycares, teaching a middle school class focusing on Mindfulness and Mental Health, and currently working as a Medical Assistant at a pediatric clinic.

Despite my passions to enter the medical field, I have always been incredibly passionate about education and would love to help you thrive in any aspect you may need assistance with!

About the lesson

I create individualized plans for each of my students and their needs. I have had 7 years of tutoring experience, ranging from ages 3 to 18 years old.

*For K-12 students* - Sessions focusing on strengthening their skills for the specific subject. Please reach out with subject name and student's main difficulties and we can figure out the best solution!

*For college prep* - Sessions include (but not limited to): planning high school classes, scheduling/time management, prioritizing mental health, college essay editing, and much more.
