About Michael
A Chartered Mechanical Engineer with a passion for teaching, mathematics and physics. With many years' experience in my industry my favourite roles have been the ones mentoring and training graduates and junior engineers. Outside of my profession I have always found it rewarding to share what I know and have worked as a snowboard instructor, a photography guide and as an English teacher for foreign children aged 4-15. With an ability to teach concepts in a logical and easy to understand manner I prioritise student learning in my lessons. I think it's important to get to know my students to better engage with them. I am always patient and supportive and encourage my students to be creative in their work as the more they contribute the more they will learn. My main goals are to make sure my lessons are enjoyable as well as informative so that my students genuinely enjoy their chosen subject.
