About Agnes
I am an experienced and dedicated drum tutor with 11 years of teaching experience. I teach high school students, college students, and elderly learners. I have successfully trained around 150 to 200 students. A major milestone in my career was seeing several of my students perform in a music festival. Their confidence and growth made me proud of my teaching journey. My teaching method is simple, clear, and step-based. I focus on rhythm control, hand coordination, and timing. I make sure students feel confident at every stage. For elderly learners, I focus on comfort and enjoyment. For younger learners, I focus on speed, discipline, and performance. Teaching drums gives me joy and purpose, and I always work to help my students succeed.

My teaching methodology for drums focuses on practical learning through real-life examples and strong motivation. I use popular songs, band recordings, and live performance situations to help students understand how drum patterns work in real music. This method makes learning meaningful and improves timing, groove, and coordination naturally. Motivation helps students stay consistent and confident. I encourage regular practice and guide students to believe in their ability to improve. When students face technical problems such as fast rhythms, hand-foot balance, or uneven timing, I use clear problem-solving techniques. Each challenge is handled slowly and step by step. Integrity is very important in my teaching. I believe in honest teaching, fair evaluation, musical discipline, and respect for learning. Students grow not only as drummers but also as responsible individuals. Flexibility allows me to modify lessons based on a student’s learning pace, interest, and age. In addition to drum lessons, I also teach rhythm reading, basic keyboard, music theory fundamentals, and stage performance skills.
