About Tumi

I am a passionate French tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, specialising in High School and College students, and I have successfully trained around 150 to 200 students. My teaching philosophy is based on making learning meaningful and easy to understand. I believe that when lessons are clear and relatable, students can learn faster and retain knowledge more effectively.

I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary while also improving speaking and listening skills. I use simple explanations, real-life situations, and engaging activities to keep students interested.

One of my key achievements is helping students who once struggled with French become confident learners who achieve strong academic results. I take pride in supporting my students at every step of their journey.

About the lesson

My French teaching methodology focuses on creating a complete and balanced learning experience for students. I use real-life examples, conversations, and case studies to make lessons practical and meaningful, helping students understand how to use the language naturally in everyday situations. I follow a flexible teaching style, customising lessons based on each student’s level, pace, and learning goals.

This ensures that every student receives personal attention and can progress comfortably. I promote collaboration by encouraging students to participate in interactive sessions, discussions, and speaking activities that improve their confidence and communication skills. I also maintain a compassionate and supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn and improve.

Along with French, I also guide students in grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation, listening skills, reading comprehension, and writing development, along with cultural insights to enhance their understanding.
