About Harper

As a BA French tutor with more than 9 years of experience, I focus on helping college students learn in a simple, structured, and engaging way. I combine traditional methods with modern tools to make lessons exciting and effective. I use visuals, conversation tasks, digital exercises, and culture-based activities to help students build real communication skills. My teaching style is calm, supportive, and adaptable. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my lessons to suit their strengths. I provide regular feedback, easy study strategies, and personalized practice material. My goal is to help students become confident speakers who can use French in academics and daily life.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for BA French follows four main principles: Motivation, Communication, Creativity, and Time Management. These elements help students learn the language in a simple and natural way.

Motivation is important because many learners feel nervous or unsure when starting a new language. I make sure they feel supported, valued, and encouraged throughout the lessons. I use friendly reminders, positive feedback, and small goals to keep them focused and excited. This makes learning less stressful and more enjoyable.

Communication is the center of my lessons. I help students practice speaking through everyday conversations, role-plays, question-and-answer sessions, and short dialogues. Even if students make mistakes, I guide them gently and help them improve step by step. This practical speaking focus helps them gain confidence and communicate easily.

Creativity adds a fun element to learning French. I use visuals, examples, storytelling, and interactive exercises that help students understand the language in a natural way. Instead of memorizing grammar rules, students learn through real use and creative activities. This helps them remember concepts for a long time.

Time Management ensures that lessons stay organized and productive. I plan every class with clear goals and a strong structure. Students always know what we will learn and why. I also teach them how to schedule their study time so they can continue improving on their own.

Along with French, I teach related subjects such as writing, reading support, culture basics, and communication skills. My aim is to help every student feel confident, comfortable, and capable of achieving their learning goals.
