About Ada

I am an experienced ESL tutor with 13+ years of teaching high school and college students, committed to providing personalised and effective lessons. I focus on understanding each student’s goals, challenges, and learning style, creating lessons that are tailored, interactive, and practical.

I combine grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening exercises with real-life examples and discussions to enhance learning outcomes. I prioritise creating a positive environment that encourages active participation and builds confidence.

Over the years, I have helped students improve fluency, academic performance, and overall English communication skills.

About the lesson

I adopt a teaching methodology centred on C³P—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving—to cultivate an engaging and meaningful ESL learning experience. Creativity is fostered through storytelling, interactive games, and practical projects, encouraging students to think independently and express ideas freely.

Communication is developed through collaborative exercises, discussions, and debates, enabling students to articulate thoughts clearly and confidently. Compassion is integral; I tailor lessons to individual learning preferences, offering encouragement, constructive feedback, and support to build confidence and motivation.

Problem-solving is integrated into lessons through real-life scenarios, analytical tasks, and interactive problem-based activities that challenge students to apply language skills practically and logically. Additionally, I incorporate complementary subjects such as reading comprehension, essay writing, and communication techniques to create a holistic educational experience.

Through this approach, I aim to develop learners who are not only proficient in English but also creative, empathetic, and capable of solving problems effectively in diverse settings.
