About Siyanda
I am IT student doing my final year. In my second year of study I was the head mentor in my department. I was mentoring as well as teaching a group of first year students the basic fundamentals of computer programming.

I apply the student-centered teaching model where students play an equally active role as mine and my role as a teacher is to coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of the material provided, I measure the student’s learning through formal and informal assessments whilst taking note of the student’s approach to solving problems. It is vital for me as a teacher to understand the student’s approach to problem solving in order cater for their specific needs for a successful learning outcome.
