About Rodrigo
I'm an industrial engineer, graduated from Universidad de Los Andes in Santiago, Chile. Throughout my college years, I was a TA for Physics, Thermodynamics and also taught English as a full professor (things work a little differently over there). I've always enjoyed my time in the classroom as a teacher. I think it's one of the best ways to learn, as you have to be not only knowledgeable in the subject, but also be able to communicate it effectively. Since then I've worked in all types of companies. From construction companies to banks, insurance companies and insurance brokers, different types of manufacturing industries and agriculture. To complete the salad, I also serve as a trustee in a university in Bolivia, where I'm originally from. From this I can tell you what the common language for this bouquet of industries is: numbers and math. I've learned not only to communicate with people who work in different departments in a company, but also with different companies in different industries. So, I can confidently say I can break down any problem and work with anyone to solve it. All it takes is an open mind and some work!

It's sometimes easy to get overwhelmed by the numbers and letters used in mathematics. What am I ever gonna need this for! Well, as someone who has not only had to go through the learning process, but has also worked in several jobs in different types of jobs, I can tell you exactly what you're gonna use math in. Depending on what type of help you need, I will work with you to not only understand the subject so you can perform well academically, but hopefully will give you a new perspective of the world of letters and numbers. Whether we are following your school's syllabus or tackling a specific subject, we will review the concepts before diving into actual problems and different ways to approaching them. I am available for high school level math and physics, as well as first year college related courses.
