About Jennifer
I am passionate about music and music education. I have completed a Bachelor of Music (Musicology) and a Bachelor of Arts at Adelaide University. I have been teaching recorder for 7 years and have worked with students all across the ages, doing both group and individual lessons. I have taught from beginner to intermediate levels, working in studio, school, and online settings. I love teaching recorder and I find it very special and very rewarding to be able to get to know my students, discover each one's unique strengths and talents, and watch them grow and develop into successful musicians!

Enrolments for recorder lessons are now open for Term 2 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday mornings.
Lessons are offered for students from 8 years old through to adulthood. I teach from my home studio in Black Forest, in schools, in students' homes and online via Zoom. Teaching is hands on, fun and interactive, including a range of various activities such as singing, rhythm clapping and fun ensemble playing as well as technique and performance skills. The lessons are tailored specifically to you/your child to meet your/their individual needs and interests. You'll be amazed at how quickly you/your child can progress and start making awesome music!
