About Val

Professional actor graduated from Acting in English in 2016, I went for two years abroad to London to improve my English and respond to a desire elsewhere and in Toronto where I took improv lessons. . I have shot in several short films, have acted in plays (in English and French), I write scripts and I have already directed plays (including one in London) and short -measures. I am very interested in the work of the character as well as the ease of the actor. Leaving the text aside to start, I am interested in the moment and the authenticity of the actor in his character.

About the lesson

Being myself a professional actor and director, I know the vagaries of the profession which is always all the more surprising! I adapt to the profile of the actor and I try to establish trust and respect. An actor cannot give the best of himself only with kindness. So, if you are a professional or amateur actor, I could help you understand the character, make him believable and especially not to play an emotion but a situation and a subtext. We will look together for clues in the text and the story. So I can help you with your auditions, your roles or simply as training. If you are not at all "in the middle" but looking to free yourself, to feel that you exist, I could also help you by going through games and theatrical techniques.

I offer the first 30 min lesson to get to know each other quickly then by following the lessons will be one hour, it is possible to do a 2 hour lesson. As the course price is rather advantageous compared to the average, it is not possible to have a sliding scale price. * For the price of the courses in English and accents, please consult me.
