About Victor

I'm a recent high school graduate who's passionate about programming. I scored highly in the high school classes ICS2O, ICS3U, and ICS4U, and I'm heading to university this fall to study Computer Science. Outside of school, I spend a lot of time writing code for fun. I've made small games, explored many different languages, participated in hackathons, and written scripts for a server that's hosting a multitude of services. I know how confusing programming can seem at first, and I enjoy helping others get past that and actually enjoy learning to code. My goal is to make programming simple, fun, and rewarding; especially for beginners!

About the lesson

My lessons are made for beginners; no experience needed!

Whether you're in middle school or high school, I'll teach you the basics of programming in a way that's easy to understand and fun to explore.

Specifically, you'll learn:
- How to think like a programmer
- How to write or understand code (in Python or Java)
- How to make simple programs
- Key topics like variables, loops, if statements, and more.

Cyrus picked up the concepts very quickly; the content of this lesson was clearly easy for him, especially arithmetic. As long as he practices, I'm sure he'll master creating variables, using arithmetic, and user input/output!
