About Kazuo

Having grown up in a bicultural environment between France and Japan, I am passionate about teaching Japanese as it is actually spoken in Japan, while clearly explaining the nuances for French speakers. My Japanese language learning is the result of my childhood environment, courses at the Collège & Lycée Jean de la Fontaine in the Japanese section, and my ongoing Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language and Civilization at INALCO (National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations). I also took courses at the Tenri Private Institute and completed a six-month exchange program at Tenri University in Japan. I have completed the second year of my Bachelor's degree at INALCO and am currently on a gap year during my third year. I have also passed Level 2 of the JLPT in July 2025.

About the lesson

The first lesson aims to understand your expectations and clarify your goals in order to maximize your study time. I use the Minna no Nihongo textbook and am open to working with your own textbook if you have your preferred learning method. I adapt to your study schedule and encourage you with daily practice. Whether you want to learn Japanese for personal enjoyment, for travel, studies, or a professional project, I will guide you with a serious, modern, and effective approach. In-person lessons: at your home or in a café
