About Elodie

Dedicated and experienced language tutor specialising in French and German, with several years of teaching practice in France and Brazil. Working with learners from different cultures has taught me how to adapt my methods so that every student — child, teenager, or adult — can learn effectively and with confidence.

My approach is structured, patient, and encouraging. I believe that progress comes from clarity, repetition in meaningful contexts, and a positive learning environment. I guide my students step by step, helping them build strong communication skills, solid grammar foundations, and real confidence in using the language.

I speak English, French, German, and Portuguese, which allows me to explain complex points in the clearest way for English-speaking learners. Professionalism, clarity, and empathy are at the heart of my teaching.

My goal is your goal: no matter how high you are starting, you want to reach the summit .

About the lesson

I teach French and German using a practical, non-linear and communicative approach that adapts to the needs of each learner — whether a child, teenager, or adult.

Use of key structures in new contexts to help vocabulary and grammar settle naturally, without memorisation stress. Repetition and cultural associations are anchored in a language.
->Learning how to speak, you learn about the people.

Through interactive exercises, situational dialogues, and gentle correction, you develop real linguistic confidence — and gradually build a true feeling for the language. I focus on building a solid foundation, using real-life examples and practical activities to make the language come alive.
I explain the key differences between English and the target language, which helps students understand challenging points quickly.
Lessons combine conversation, listening practice, guided exercises, and cultural insights.

Typical length of a lesson
Most lessons last 60 minutes, which provides enough time for explanation, practice, and review. For younger students or beginners, shorter sessions (30–45 minutes) are also available.
