About Anthony

Whether you’re looking to improve your conversational English, strengthen your grammar and writing, prepare for IELTS or Cambridge exams, or simply communicate with greater confidence in everyday, academic, or professional settings, I tailor every lesson to help you achieve your goals.

I am a TESOL-certified English teacher from Toronto with over eight years of experience teaching in Canada, Spain, and Colombia. My background includes teaching English and critical reasoning at the university level, and I am also a published author, giving me firsthand experience in both creative and academic writing. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing me to support learners from diverse backgrounds. With this combination of experience, I bring patience, creativity, and professionalism to every lesson, helping students gain fluency, confidence, and lasting communication skills.

Depending on your needs, lessons may include conversation practice, grammar instruction, reading and analyzing texts, vocabulary development, writing exercises, or exam preparation. Rather than memorizing rules in isolation, you’ll develop practical English skills that you can apply with confidence in real-life situations.

What sets me apart is my experience teaching students of all ages and levels in Canada, Spain, and Colombia. As a TESOL-certified, bilingual (English/Spanish) instructor and published author, I am especially well equipped to help students improve their speaking, writing, and critical thinking. While I enjoy teaching learners of all ages, I have particular experience working with adults, university students, and professionals seeking greater fluency, stronger academic writing, or preparation for exams such as IELTS and Cambridge.
