About Wenhan
Hi there! I'm an experienced English tutor with a Master’s degree in Education from Canada, TESOL-certified, and passionate about helping learners speak confidently and naturally. I spent 5 years of my childhood in the U.S., which gave me native English pronunciation and a strong sense of North American communication and culture. Over the years, I’ve taught students from Japan, China, South Korea, and Mexico at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in Canada, and worked at universities and language institutions in Vietnam and China. What makes my lessons special? I focus on oral communication, pronunciation, and academic or professional speaking and writing. I’ve spoken at international TESOL conferences and published in the International Journal of TESOL Studies — so if you're preparing for a presentation, CELPIP, or just want to sound more natural, you're in the right place! Having lived in four countries, I truly understand the challenges of learning English as a second language.
