About Zachary
Teaching has helped me understand that every student brings something different into the lesson. Some enjoy learning through songs, while others like building strong basics first, and I enjoy working with both approaches.
After earning my Degree in Music, I've spent 11 years teaching children and working professionals. Those years have shown me that patience, encouragement, and regular practice help students make steady progress.
I want students to feel comfortable enough to learn without worrying about making mistakes. A positive lesson, clear guidance, and a little confidence can make learning the piano much more enjoyable.

During my piano lessons, you'll spend plenty of time playing, listening, and trying new ideas instead of only reading about music. I keep the classes relaxed, giving you time to understand each topic before moving on.
We'll explore scales, chords, rhythm, finger movement, hand coordination, accompaniment, sight reading, improvisation, music theory, dynamics, and expressive playing. If a piece feels challenging, we'll break it into smaller sections until it becomes much easier to play.
You'll leave each lesson with clear practice goals and simple exercises that fit your level. Regular reviews help you see your progress, making it easier to stay motivated and enjoy learning the piano.
