About Lizia

I am currently studying MSc Risk Management and Financial Engineering at Imperial College London. As a non-native speaker who achieved IELTS 8.0 and GMAT 740, I understand the challenges many students face when studying in an English-speaking environment and preparing for academic work or applications. I am patient, structured, and easy to communicate with. I focus on helping students think clearly and express their ideas in a logical and effective way, whether in essays, coursework or application materials. I enjoy working with students from different backgrounds and helping them improve step by step. My goal is to make the learning process more practical and less stressful, especially for students who feel unsure how to organise their ideas or improve their work.

About the lesson

I focus on helping students improve step by step rather than promising specific outcomes. As a non-native speaker who achieved IELTS 8.0 and GMAT 740, I understand the common challenges and can share practical strategies that actually work in both academic and application contexts. Lessons are tailored to your level and goals. I usually start by identifying your current needs, whether it is application essays, academic writing, or understanding business-related concepts. We then work on targeted tasks with clear feedback. For essays, I help improve structure, clarity and logical flow. For coursework, I focus on helping you understand key ideas and communicate them effectively. I also offer support for business school applications, including essay guidance and general preparation, as well as basic finance or accounting assignments if needed. Lessons are typically 1 hour and conducted online. I mainly work with students applying to business schools or studying business-related subjects who want to improve in a structured and practical way.
