About Nina

My road to medicine was not without it’s challenges.

From childhood I have always dreamed of being a pediatrician and up until my final year of high school that is where I was headed. Unfortunately, despite my high grades, at the time my exam results were not sufficient to be admitted into medicine in Ireland. Instead I decided to attend Technological University Dublin and study Medical Physics and Bioengineering. I thought this degree would give me the access to the world of healthcare that I dreamed of however after 3 years of study I realised that I was still dreaming of being a pediatrician and not a physicist. And so my IMAT journey began…

I didn’t know where to start with studying for the IMAT and didn’t really believe it was possible to get everything covered in the couple of months I had before my test. I didn’t know anyone who had done anything like this before and so was really struggling to figure out if I was on the right track. I want to help others who feel lost in this process and who are determined to follow their dream of a career in medicine!

About the lesson

What is my approach to tutoring for the IMAT?

Whether you are taking a year to prepare or only have a few weeks before the test date to study, my approach is to fill in the gaps in your knowledge and through practice tests, analysing the test strategies which will work best for you.

What can you expect from me?

- A personalised study plan catered to your needs and time constraints.
- An individual test strategy we will develop together as you practice more and more tests.
- Advice and resources which myself and fellow medical students have used to succeed in the IMAT.

Her classes are organised and she helped me to create a study plan which worked with my lifestyle and the subjects I was struggling with. We worked on so many practice tests and she really put in the extra hours to give me advice and help me through the IMAT process.
