About Sudarshan
Hi, I'm Sudarshan — an MSc student at IIT Tirupati and someone who has been through the JEE journey myself. I scored 148 in JEE Mains with 75 in Math, so I understand the exam from the inside, not just as a teacher but as a student who has sat in that exact same pressure.
For the past 3 years I have taught JEE Maths and Physics to 300+ students across multiple batches at Avanti Fellows — an NGO that provides free JEE education to students who cannot afford expensive coaching. That environment made me a much sharper and more committed teacher than I would have been otherwise.
The results speak for themselves — my students have made it into IITs, NITs, and IIITs, and I was recognized with the Best JEE Performer Award at my institute for the results I delivered.

My approach as a teacher:
I've qualified JEE Mains and Advanced myself, so I know exactly how overwhelming the preparation can feel. That experience shapes everything about how I teach. I don't just hand over formulas and expect students to figure it out — I make sure they actually understand why something works before we touch a single problem.
How a typical class looks:
We start by quickly revisiting what we covered last time — because revision is half the battle in JEE. Then we get into the new concept together, step by step, with everything drawn out clearly on my digital whiteboard. Once it clicks, we move into PYQs — real JEE Mains questions — so students feel the actual pattern of the exam, not just textbook theory. No question goes unanswered. If something isn't clear, we stay on it until it is.
What's different about my classes?
I've spent 2.5 years teaching JEE in a physical coaching setup, so online classes don't feel passive or disconnected with me. Beyond just teaching, I also mentor my students personally and take regular counselling sessions to track their progress, identify weak areas, and keep them on the right path. JEE preparation is as much a mental game as it is academic, and I try to be there for both sides of it.
