About Aabha
Hey there, I’m Aabha, and I’m excited to help high school students fall in love with biology! With an MSc from IISER and BSc from the University of Hyderabad, I’ve got a strong foundation to make biology clear and fun. I’ve been tutoring since 2018, using simple explanations, cool visuals like diagrams, and interactive tools to bring topics like cells or genetics to life. My approach to teaching high school biology is rooted in fostering curiosity, clarity, and confidence. With my MSc in Biological Sciences from IISER and a passion for science education, I aim to make complex concepts accessible and engaging for high school students.
I use a student-centered approach, tailoring lessons to individual learning styles. My techniques include:
interactive explanations, visual and hands-on learning,
active learning and feedback-driven instruction.
A typical 60-minute class is structured to maximize engagement and retention, separated into warm-up, core lesson, interactive activities and QnA.
Drawing from my tutoring experience since 2018, I adapt explanations to suit each student’s pace and interests, ensuring no one feels left behind. Inspired by my experience with science outreach, I encourage students to explore biology beyond the classroom through discussions on real-world applications.
My classes are designed for high school students (ages 14-18) preparing for board exams, competitive exams, or seeking a deeper understanding of biology.
