About Mahbub

’m an experienced and approachable tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching. I hold an MBA and am currently pursuing a PhD in Green Marketing at IIUM in Kuala Lumpur. Over the years, I’ve helped students from diverse backgrounds excel in IGCSE Science and English (Year 7-10) by making learning clear, practical, and even fun. Growing up in a multilingual and multicultural environment, I’ve developed excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students of all levels. I believe that learning is not just about grades—it’s about building confidence, curiosity, and independent thinking. My teaching style is structured but friendly, focused on creating a safe space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace. Whether it’s preparing for exams or catching up on schoolwork, I’m here to guide them every step of the way.

About the lesson

believe every student learns differently, so my tutoring style is flexible, engaging, and tailored to fit each learner’s pace. I use a concept-first approach—breaking down complex ideas into simple, relatable terms, followed by real-life examples and practice questions. I also emphasize exam techniques, time management, and critical thinking, not just memorization.

My lessons typically last 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s focus and schedule. I keep sessions interactive using visuals, questions, and discussion-based learning to keep students involved and confident.

I hold an MBA and am currently pursuing a PhD in Green Marketing at IIUM, with years of experience teaching IGCSE Science and English from Year 7 to Year 10. I've worked with students from international schools and various cultural backgrounds, helping them improve grades and develop a deeper understanding of the subjects.

My lessons are designed for IGCSE students (ages 12–16) who want to improve academically, gain confidence, or prepare for exams—whether they’re struggling or aiming for top grades. I offer both in-person and online sessions, based in Kuala Lumpur.
