About Tanvi

I am an international Mathematics educator and Grade Level Coordinator with over 12 years of experience guiding secondary school students toward academic excellence. My educational background includes an MSc in Physics, an MA in Psychology, and a B.Ed, along with professional certifications as an IBEC-certified and Microsoft Educator.
Teaching is a passion rooted in my desire to make mathematics accessible, engaging, and empowering for every learner. My background in psychology allows me to understand how students process information, enabling me to build a supportive, encouraging environment where fear of math is replaced with genuine curiosity and confidence. My physics foundation ensures that I teach mathematics through practical logic, clear scaffolding, and deep conceptual understanding rather than mechanical memorization.
Over the past decade, I have helped diverse learners—from those needing foundational support to students aiming for top tier scores in their board examinations—unlock their full analytical potential. I look forward to partnering with you to achieve your academic goals with clarity and confidence.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization. By combining inquiry-based techniques with clear, real-world examples, I help students understand the logic behind mathematical formulas. My background in psychology allows me to quickly identify individual learning blocks, reduce math anxiety, and build lasting problem-solving confidence.

I’ve known Tanvi ma’am since my 6th class, and over the years she has become much more than just a teacher to me — she’s like a big sister. She is incredibly caring, patient, and genuinely invested in her students. What I appreciate most is how comfortable she makes you feel while learning; she explains things with patience and never makes you feel bad for asking questions. She’s an amazing teacher and an even more wonderful person, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a teacher who truly cares about her students
