About Rayyan
I'm a dedicated tutor who genuinely cares about my students' understanding, not just getting through a syllabus. I bring hands-on teaching experience as a former Teaching Assistant at Nixor College and as a private tutor through Teaching by SM, backed by a strong academic foundation from IBA Karachi in Economics and Mathematics.
I don't believe in rushing a lesson just because the clock says it's time to stop. If a student needs a few extra minutes to fully grasp a concept, I give it to them, because real understanding matters more than sticking to a rigid schedule. My sessions typically run 60 to 90 minutes, but I always prioritize the student's pace over the watch.
I focus on clear conceptual explanations followed by structured practice, helping students understand the "why" behind each concept rather than relying on memorization. Every lesson includes a quick review of previous topics, focused teaching, and guided practice with feedback, all tailored to the individual in front of me.
My lessons are designed for O Level, IGCSE, and Pearson board students studying Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, typically between ages 13 and 18.
