About Antoinette

I'm a University of Pretoria, Human physiology graduate with extensive knowledge in physiology and biology venturing into industrial and exercise physiology. Simultaneously, I am a PGCE student specializing in Life Sciences and Natural Sciences. I am also interested in pharmacology and other research studies such as genetics, microbiology, and anatomy. I have just over a year's worth of tutoring experience and am looking forward to assisting you guys.

About the lesson

When teaching, I like to have a basic understanding of how far the student is with the work and what misconceptions they may have. Establishing these helps to know where to start when tutoring and to correct the misconceptions while introducing the correct explanations and concepts. In a typical lesson, we will establish what topics you're most comfortable with and tackle those first. We will then gradually introduce the other concepts and hopefully, get you acclimated to them as well. I prefer to teach using common examples and scenarios as well as some research topics of interest. I'm willing to alter that according to your preferred learning method and such. I would provide some methods of self-evaluation as well to keep track of your progress. I will provide some summaries and study material that will make our learning journey a little easier.
