I am a university educated and qualified teacher of English as a foreign language and I have also taught Italian and coached chess at international level. I have travelled extensively and have lived in the USA, Italy, Finland and my native United Kingdom, so I believe I also have a very good knowledge of other cultures.

My primary focus will be to focus on developing your spoken fluency and expanding your vocabulary. We will also strengthen your knowledge of key grammar areas and enhance your pronunciation. The optimal lesson length in my opinion is 60 minutes with 1-2 hours of homework between sessions. I am a native English speaker, born in LOndon and brought up in the UK. I have worked as a teacher of English as a foreign language to teachers and children in the UK, Finland and Italy since 1995. I was Head Teacher at a language traning institute in Tampere, Finland for 6 six years (2010-2016). I have taught adults and children at all levels from beginner to advanced.
