About Nathan

Graduated from St. Louis University High School with a 4.35 weighted GPA, 36 composite ACT, National Honor Society Membership, and as a PSAT National Merit Finalist. Has won several awards and received several collegiate merit scholarships for both creative writing and essay writing.

About the lesson

Hello! Are you interested in becoming a more effective writer, be it for thesis-oriented essay writing or creative personal endeavors? Do you want to develop a more discerning approach to critical literary analysis? Would you like help studying for standardized testing, like the ACT, PSAT, or SAT? I can help! I offer a flexible, personalized tutoring plan to students from middle school to high school. How I approach a particular student will depend heavily on their personal needs, goals, and learning style. However, in general, my lessons consist of a brief, structured lecture, either from a weekly plan or on an indicated problem spot, followed by a conversation-oriented dive into areas of growth with guided exercises to be administered as needed. I firmly believe that any student can not only succeed, but excel. Often, the only hurdle in the way is finding the right avenue to approach and internalize information in an engaging way. My goal is not only to find that avenue for every one of my students, but to help you discover it for yourself.
