I'm currently a students at the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas in Austin, getting a degree in Music Education. I have 10 years experience playing trumpet and over 5 years experience teaching everything from trumpet private lessons, conducting bands, or even learning and teaching flute and saxophone.

It's extremely important to make sure when the student is practicing by themselves, they should be developing good habits that will enhance their sound or make their life easier in the future.
