About Lorine

Walking into a room where a student feels overwhelmed by algebra or calculus defines my daily practice as a coach. I often encounter learners who are ahead and bored alongside those who feel behind and anxious, yet both scenarios remain entirely workable. My academic path through Queen's University provided the foundation for a rigorous approach to statistics, geometry, and arithmetic while keeping my methods grounded in logic.

Having worked with many students over 10 years, I prioritize CONCEPTUAL LEARNING to ensure you move toward total independence. Success for me is measured by the moment you no longer require my assistance to solve complex problems.

About the lesson

Starting the process involves me listening closely to your specific challenges during a thorough diagnostic test. Since I spent 10 years refining this method, I prefer to understand your unique hurdles before I introduce any new concepts or curriculum.

We spend time breaking down homework help or competition math prep into manageable segments that fit your current pace. Calculus problems or tricky geometry proofs become manageable when we identify the precise point of confusion. This technical focus allows us to move away from guesswork and toward logical, repeatable results. My role is to act as your navigator until you reach your own academic independence.
