About Tristen

In my last year at the University of New Mexico, I was the head tutor for statistics. I’ve worked with students of all skill levels, from basic math to advanced topics. I'm very patient and can change my teaching style to fit what each student needs. My goal is to make sure students feel confident and supported while they learn.

About the lesson

I help students understand challenging math and statistics by explaining things in a way that’s easier to comprehend. My lessons are personalized to each student’s level, starting with a quick review, then working through examples together. We finish with practice to make sure you’re comfortable with the material. My goal is to help you gain confidence and improve in both high school and college-level topics.

Perfect! I've just had my first lesson with Tristen and it was so nice to get to talk with him about what I am learning in my online stats course. I felt more calm, confident and committed to prioritizing my coursework to really understand the practical applications of the content.
