About Alyssa

I hold both an associate's degree and a BA in Spanish, I am currently working towards my master's degree in teaching Spanish. I have had a little experience teaching native Spanish speakers English and I would like to continue working with them as well as those interested in becoming better in Spanish. I am organized, communicate professionally at all times, and most importantly I emphasize progress over perfection language learning is a journey and making mistakes is a natural part of the process. We will work together to identify areas for improvement and celebrate your success together!

About the lesson

I tailor my lessons to your individual needs and learning style, so you’ll get the most out of each session. I focus on practical communication, so you’ll be able to use what you learn immediately. I like to encourage you to do more than just memorizing words and grammar lessons, immerse yourself in your chosen language outside of tutoring as well. TV, movies, radio, and real-life situations will get you accustomed to listening to your target language and picking up the words faster than ever before.
