About Mónica
My professional experience has been in: Marketing Post Graduate Teacher (Venezuela) and Spanish Tutor for more than two years (Venezuela - Canada).
I understand and value the decision and effort that goes into learning another language. I know from my own experience the challenges that everyone faces when they make this decision. For that reason I have developed a clear conviction in my classes that it is necessary to:
1. Provide a pleasant environment.
2. Personalize classes and adapt resources and techniques to the needs of my students.
3. Help eliminate the fear of learning a new language and
4. Maintain motivation to achieve the set objectives.

My focus in teaching Spanish will be in the following two areas: Adults with Spanish beginner level and adults who want to practice Spanish conversation.
My methods are:
a. Spanish Beginner level: help to increase vocabulary in Spanish, provide the basic fundamentals of grammar (oriented more to application than conceptualization), to guide the development of correct pronunciation, and conversational practices according to the students level.
b. Conversational practice: my goal will be to provide topics of interest through readings, dialogues, videos, podcasts that allow for the increase of vocabulary, improve pronunciation and strengthen communication skills in Spanish.
