About Giovanny

Hi, I’m Giovanny, originally from Colombia and currently living in Australia, where I have been for the past 9 years. As a native Spanish speaker fluent in English, I understand both the challenges and the rewards of learning a new language and adapting to a different culture.
I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in Spanish through practical, supportive, and personalized lessons.
My goal is to create a friendly and professional learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and supported while improving their Spanish at their own pace.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is friendly, practical, and focused on helping students feel confident speaking Spanish from the beginning. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning style, using conversation, pronunciation practice, vocabulary building, reading, and simple grammar explanations to make lessons engaging and easy to follow.

I like to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students can learn at their own pace and feel comfortable asking questions. I also include real-life examples and interactive activities to make learning more natural and enjoyable.

Typical lessons are 45–60 minutes long and can be held online or face-to-face in Adelaide.

I am a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, with experience teaching young adults and adults, as well as teaching Spanish to my own youngest child. This has helped me develop patience, clear communication skills, and adaptable teaching methods for different ages and learning levels.

My lessons are suitable for:
• Beginners to intermediate students
• Young adults and adults
• Students learning Spanish for travel, work, study, or personal interest
• Anyone wanting to improve conversation and confidence in Spanish
