About Mariana

Learning a new language can seem to be overwhelming, and most never take the step to do it.

For the past few years I have supported international friends and members of my extended family whose native language is English, helping them to speak Spanish.

It is the results we have achieved in their learning that have motivated me to continue helping more people to continue their journey in the Spanish language.

What I’ve understood in my teaching and learning experience is that some things will work better for some people than others, and how important it is to learn a language naturally, not just by memorizing rules.

I encourage to start or keep going on your Spanish journey and enjoy in the process. I will not only be your tutor, but a source of motivation for you!

About the lesson

My methodology is based on discovering my student's learning style and identifying their strengths. Starting with the basics, we'll work to create an ideal learning environment through conversation, getting a strong vocabulary and comprehension skills will be our main focus.

Typical Learning Plan:

Initial assessment of student level and objectives.

Guided conversation practice.

Useful vocabulary, based on interests.

Grammar explanations and review.

Pronunciation and comprehension exercises.

Review at the end of each lesson.

Helpful assignments to practice between sessions.

The plan adapts to each student's pace, level, and goals.
